U.S. lapel pins worn on my officer’s uniform

This pin actual comes in a pair and is worn about the branch insignia on the lapel of the uniform blouse. In today’s military what we used to call fatigues have replaced the common Army green uniform, and the insignia is in black, apparently to make it more difficult to distinguish officers from enlisted and to determine rank from a distance. Well I wore these on my uniform when I served. I still have them and am proud to display them.
