Johnson Space Center Houston pin

In 2002 I took a group of TexPrep students (grades 6-11) to the Johnson Space Center as part of a summer program oriented toward enhancing appreciation of science, technology, and computing for minority students considered “at risk.” As it turned out they were all superior achievers, and have gone on to excellent careers, of which I am quite proud.

The Johnson Space Center in Houston has an outstanding educational program of which we took full advantage.
