Pin from Cunard from the past

Pin from Cunard from the past

Ocean liners called their better quarters “cabin class” although that could have been First Class or Second Class. This pin would mark a person who had enough wherewithal to be in comfortable accommodations. This does not really apply today when most liners, especially the Queen Mary II, have no quarters that would be “Third Class” or steerage. There are fair, good, better, and first rate accommodations however. This pin marks a bygone era.
